Can I book a one-way transfer from Vail to Eagle Airport?
Yes — every Eagle Mountain Express transfer is one-way by default. There's no round-trip requirement, no return-leg surcharge, and no minimum. A one-way Vail-to-EGE departure is $199 flat-rate per vehicle, the same as the inbound EGE-to-Vail trip. Book each direction independently or both at once.
01Why this matters
Some airport transfer providers require round-trip bookings or charge a 'deadhead' fee for one-way trips. Eagle Mountain Express does not. Each direction is its own flat-rate booking. Customers using a different provider for one direction (driving in, flying out, or vice versa) pay the same rate as round-trip customers.
02Common one-way scenarios
Drove to Vail in your own car, flying back from EGE — book a one-way Vail-to-EGE transfer, $199. Flew into Vail via DEN with our sister brand Vail Mountain Express, flying out via EGE — book a one-way Vail-to-EGE with us, $199. Multi-stop trip ending at EGE — also fine.
03Booking both at once vs separately
Booking both directions at the same time locks in availability for ski season but doesn't unlock additional discounts. Some customers prefer booking the inbound right after the flight is confirmed and the outbound 1-2 weeks before departure once weather forecasts are clearer.
