Can I bring skis in a Vail airport shuttle?
Yes. Every vehicle in the Eagle Mountain Express fleet — GMC Yukon Denali, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and Sprinter Van XL — is sized for full ski, snowboard, and golf gear plus checked luggage. Tell us your gear count when booking so we assign the right-sized vehicle.
01Gear capacity by vehicle
GMC Yukon Denali: 5 passengers + 5 ski/snowboard sets + carry-on luggage. Mercedes Sprinter Van: 9 passengers + 9 sets of gear + full checked luggage. Sprinter Van XL: 14 passengers + 14 sets of gear + checked luggage.
02Awkwardly-sized gear
Powder skis (190+ cm), snowboards over 165 cm, golf bags, hockey gear, and even mountain bikes (broken down) all fit. We've moved more wedding-dress garment bags, baby strollers, and unusual luggage than we can count. Tell us what you're bringing at booking.
03Booking with gear
When you book online, indicate your party size and let us know how many ski/snowboard sets you're bringing. For larger groups (6+) with full gear, we usually recommend the Sprinter Van as the right capacity tier.
