Where do I meet my chauffeur at EGE?
Door 6 in the Ground Transportation Lot. Your chauffeur texts you their location and vehicle as soon as you land. They'll be holding a sign with your last name.
What if my flight is delayed or diverted?
We track your flight on FAA radar from departure to arrival. If you're delayed, we adjust automatically. If your flight diverts to a primary alternate (DEN, COS, GJT), call dispatch at (970) 705-0500 — we'll work it out.
How does payment work?
You reserve the vehicle (held 30 minutes). We text you a secure Stripe payment link. You pay from your phone using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Your card details never touch our website — they go directly to Stripe.
Can I cancel for free?
Yes — full refund up to 24 hours before pickup. Inside 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee applies. No-shows are charged the full fare.
Do you serve private aviation at EGE?
Yes. Pickup at Vail Valley Jet Center (VVJC) is +$50. Note the FBO when you book and we'll meet you planeside.
What about ski bags, golf bags, or child seats?
Ski and golf bags are no charge — just include them in the booking so we send a vehicle with capacity. Child and infant seats are complimentary on request.
Do you go to Aspen and Snowmass?
Yes. EGE to Aspen is 68 miles, ~90 minutes via I-70 and Highway 82. EGE to Snowmass is 66 miles, ~85 minutes. We're the closest commercial-airport option to Aspen when ASE is closed or weather-impacted.
Are your drivers actually local?
Every chauffeur lives in Eagle County or Pitkin County. They drive I-70 daily. They know the chain law, the weather patterns, and which mountain pass to avoid in a storm.
How early should I book?
For peak weeks (Christmas, MLK, Presidents, spring break) book as far ahead as possible. Otherwise 48–72 hours is comfortable. We do accept same-day if vehicles are available — call dispatch.
What if I need to add a stop or change my drop-off?
Just text your chauffeur or call dispatch at (970) 705-0500. Small route adjustments inside the Vail Valley are no charge. Significant detours may carry a fee.
Do you take corporate accounts?
Yes. Email coordinator@eaglemountainexpress.com for net-30 billing, direct-bill folios, or recurring trip management for assistants and family offices.
Is gratuity included?
No hidden fees, no auto-gratuity. Tipping is at your discretion — most guests tip 15–20% in cash or via the Stripe link.
What vehicles do you operate?
Late-model Cadillac Escalade ESVs, Chevrolet Suburbans, and Mercedes Sprinter vans. All AWD or 4WD, Blizzak winter tires November through April, maintained in-house.
Do you serve hotels other than Vail and Beaver Creek?
Yes — we serve every major hotel and private residence in Vail, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Avon, Edwards, Eagle, Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, and Old Snowmass.
What if no one's at the curb when I land?
Call (970) 705-0500 immediately. Our dispatcher will tell you exactly where your chauffeur is and put you on a video call if needed. If we're at fault, the ride is on us.
